Pustinja Blaca is a historic monastery located on the island of Brač in Croatia. The monastery was founded in the 16th century and served as a refuge for Glagolitic priests during the Ottoman invasions.
The monastery is open to visitors from April to October, with tours available from 9am to 5pm daily. Admission is 30 HRK (approximately 4 EUR) for adults and 15 HRK (approximately 2 EUR) for children.
The official website for Pustinja Blaca is currently under construction, but more information can be found on the Brač Tourist Board website.
In addition to visiting the monastery, visitors to Brač can also explore the island's numerous beaches, including Zlatni Rat, one of the most famous beaches in Croatia. The island is also home to several charming towns and villages, such as Bol and Supetar, where visitors can sample local cuisine and enjoy the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.
It is recommended to rent a car or take a guided tour to fully explore the island. Many local tour operators offer excursions to Pustinja Blaca and other attractions on Brač.
